【摘要】:1.1Thisstandardappliestomachinesforsurfacecleaningandpre-treatment–inthefollowingcalled"cleaningmachines"–ofindustrialitemsusingliquidsorvapours,i.e.stationarymachinesandrelatedequipmentforautomatedandmanualcleaningandpre-treatmentprocesses.NOTECleaningmachinesareoperatedwithorwithoutheating,forexampleasdippingorsprayingorvapourcondensationprocess,whereadditionalusingofultrasoundispossible.Thesecleaningmachinescouldbedesignedassingle-zoneormulti-zonemachine,chambermachines,drumcleaningmachine,lowlifttruckmachines,roundtimemachinesortunnel(continuous)machines.Totheextentofthisdocument,cleaningmachinesforindustrialitemsareconsideredasanassemblyofthefollowingequipment:??pump(s)and/orothermechanicalsystemofagitation,recirculationandsprayingofcleaningliquid;??forcedventilationsystem;??heatingsystemwithtemperaturecontrol;??condensationsystem;??filtrationandseparationsystemand/orsolidparticlesextractionfromtheliquid;??conveyorand/orhandlingsystemfortheitemstobeprocessed;??producthandlingsystemsandreciprocatorswhicharepartofthecleaningmachine;??controland/ormonitoringsystems;??liquidhandlingsystem.1.2ThisEuropeanStandarddealswiththecommonsignificanthazards,hazardoussituationsandeventsrelevanttocleaningmachinesforindustrialitemsusingliquidsorvapourswhentheyareusedasintendedandundertheconditionsforeseenbythemanufacturer(seeclause4).ThispartofthestandarddefinesthecommonsafetyrequirementsforallkindsofcleaningmachinesforindustrialitemsusingliquidsorvapoursandrelatedcommondevicesandshouldbeusedinconnectionwithotherpartsoftheEN12921-series.Thespecificrequirementsspecifiedinpart2andfollowingpartsofEN12921takeprecedenceovertherespectiverequirementsinEN12921.NOTEInaddition,whereacleaningmachineisnotcoveredbyaspecificpartofthisdocument,part1ofEN12921canbeusedtoestablishtheapproachfordealingwiththerelevantrisks.Specifichazardswhicharerelatedtothetypeofcleaningliquidusedaredealtwithinthefollowingdocuments:??EN12921-2forwaterbasedcleaningliquids;??EN12921-3forflammablecleaningliquids;??prEN12921-4forhalogenatedsolvents.1.3Thisstandardisnotapplicableto:??mobileportablecleaning;??highpressurecleaningwithhighpressurewaterjetmachinesaccordingtoprEN1829-1;??conveyordishwashingmachinesaccordingtoprEN50416;??surfacecleaningappliancesemployingliquidsaccordingtoEN60335-2-54;??commercialelectricdishwashingmachinesaccordingtoEN60335-2-58;??cleaningwithhighpressurecleanersandsteamcleanersaccordingtoEN60335-2-79;??allloadingandunloadingsystems;??automaticsystems,e.g.robotsascoveredbyEN775;??centrifugesascoveredbyEN12547;??pumpsandpumpunitsforliquidsascoveredbyEN809;??plasmaenergy;??mechanicalblasting;??heatand/orthermalenergy;??hazardsrelatedtodryingprocesses;??cleaningoftextilesorclothes;??foodprocessing.1.4ThisstandardisnotapplicabletocleaningmachinesforindustrialitemswhicharemanufacturedbeforethedateofpublicationofthisdocumentbyCEN.
